Hi /fa/,
Does anyone know what the problem is with this suit jacket?
I just picked it up from the dry cleaners this evening and it now has these wrinkles. I plan to go back tomorrow but I fear the suit is ruined...
Yeah, I'm afraid the lining got detached in certain parts, but that's what happens with cheap glued-through suits.

This sucks man any way to fix it?
It is a new tailored suit I got in Asia and was about £120. Maybe still a "cheap suit" but the fit was perfect and it looked good (before...)

It's the problem with fused suits, after awhile the heat from dry cleaning will re-liquefy the glue. Cheaper suit companies have slowly gotten better at it, but a half or full canvas will always beat fused in terms of longevity (not to mention will look better). However, there is one major caveat, as long as you don't spill anything on a suit or don't kill it with BO, you don't have to get it dry cleaned. Most guys who are really into suits by and large don't. Get a kit like this instead: https://www.thelaundress.com/Wool-and-Cashmere-Kit.html
Thanks guys, took it back to the dry cleaner and he seems to think he can fix it, we'll see next week.
I didn't even know what a "fused suit" was until yesterday. I'll rationalise this as a lesson learned.. at least I didn't fuck up a £1000 suit.

Well at least now you know why it is worth it to spend a bit more on suits
