looking for a decent backpack that'll last a good decade+ got my eyes on this currently
ive got this backpack right now but in a different color. i want the color in pic related. i dont know if you really would consider jansports cool, but they are incredibly durable and practical.

looks nice anon
but why do people shit on jansport? i mean as long as it works right?

every backpack works. it's the fact that this is the shit you went to elementary school with because your parents couldn't afford anything else
why this "look" is suddenly cool i have no fucking clue.

People like things they grew up with. There;s also social media being prevalent nowadays people can have something shoved in their faces 10x more than usual. In this case, people see more people who react well with purchasing things than remind them of their childhood, so they think it's the "in" thing to do. Like how capeshit movies are now the thing and why wearing brand logo shirt are still a thing.

i agree, but my big issue with jansport now is that their bags are fucking stupid expensive compared to when i was a kid, when this was the shit your mom bought you from kmart
like what the fuck is wrong with normies

eh idk, this is kind of a whack theory. jansports are just quality backpacks for a decent price
Is this a backpack thred?
Whats a good water resistant backpack?
I need it to be able to hold a 13 or 15 inch laptop and maybe notebooks or textbooks.

I second this
bamp
I have a badass Quicksilver backpack with leather bottom and stormproof pockets. I'm not sure of any specifics but I've used it heavily for ten years and it's a cool looking backpack. Can also fit 3x the space of a Jansport and looks cooler. Not sure if it's real or imitation leather but it's a durable backpack

GORUCK IS DOPE< WORHT IT
>>12752746
but is it cool?
>>12751782
11 bbs bag get that
The Goruck is very nice, the only department it really suffers in is organisation, it's a pain to carry small items in it since you either try to cram them into the pockets, buy an external pouch or end up putting them inside something larger inside the pack.
