what are your thoughts on LL Bean duck boots? Are they good for the winter/snow weather?

The low ones look cool(they look like a weird loafer) but at the same time is stupid buying a low duck shoe, because you will get your feet wet if you live in a place that rains alot, they kinda contradict the purpose of a duck boot.

The most retarded looking footwear ever.
I can't understand why anyone would even consider wearing these things.
Great boots, good quality, made in USA. I'm glad fall is coming soon.
They're prepcore and enormously popular among college girls, so take that as you will. Personally speaking, they're pretty damn good.

You can literally only pull these off if you're some Ivy League trust fund piece of shit, and already dress as such anyway.

You can rock them. It's like anything else, pair them with a nice fit, and they'll look good. Patagonia fleeces and puffy vests go well with duck boots for a sort of comfy fall prep core look

i have a pair of the thinsulate lined ones for winter/fall and theyre top tier. The sizing is super wonky so just try to follow the advice they give you on the website, but I would go to a store and try them on if possible.
