fa, I'm trying to grow my hair long and what is the best conditioner I can get from anywhere? Should I wash my hair only once every 3 days? Do I need haircuts?

>best conditioner
there's no universal 'best', you need to find what your hair likes best. As a hint, avoid silicones so you don't have to wash as often, and use oils (olive, coconut, almond)
>Should I wash my hair only once every 3 days?
Stretching washes is good, start with every other day until your scalp get used to it, then go longer. I wash once a week and no one can tell. Only gets slightly greasy on the end of day six.
>Do I need haircuts?
Depends on your starting point, how short is your hair right now? Generally you'll need a haircut to get a nice shape that allows you to not cut for a long time. Once your hair is growing, only trim a little bit if it's uneven or you notice split ends.
Hope that helps
Any conditioner is fine because your hair isn't even long.
I used to shampoo every 2-3 days when my hair was long. While it's short everyday is okay.
Don't cut your hair at all OP. Don't cut it until it reach your shoulders and then only shape it. It's gonna be hard and you'll have ugly stages. GL

Thank you for the advice. I think this is what I'll do:
-wash infrequently (like 3-7 days)
-only use shampoo on the scalp
-conditioner w coconut oil
-clip split ends but no haircuts to let it grow
-let wet hair air dry, or absorb the water with something soft
-wear hats on ugly days
-sleep on a silk pillowcase to prevent split ends while it grows
just saying
