This is my end goal

nope, the neckline is fine.
however:
- trim your beard so that you don't have those few odd hairs sticking out everywhere. it looks shaggy.
- you would probably also benefit from having shorter beard in general.
- do another buzz of your head. the current short hairs on top of your head accentuates the dying hairline.
- go outside and get some sun on you. you look unhealthy, at least in this lighting.
- shooting images of your face at that angle from a phone camera at this distance morphs your face (focal length and shit). remember that you don't "actually" look like this.

Thanks for the descriptive reply! That is actually close to how short I usually buzz my head, should I go guardless? I've kind of embraced the hairline, almost even like it. And yeah I'm super pale, that picture actually makes me look darker than I actually am, hah.

Was hoping to see a thread like this, what can I do to this scraggly shit? Shaping beards on your own is tough when they get longer. I'm considering shaving it off entirely because I've had it since I was 17, I'm just not sure the strong chiseled jaw of manhood lurks underneath or if I've been covering a baby face for six years.

Any help appreciated, you can't hurt me more than people assuming I'm homeless already has.

Yes, I've got a little blotter thing of beard oil and I brush it out of the shower. This wasn't the best day for photos
