I'm from somewhere with >30C temperature so i may be wrong.
To me this sweater looks like it is meant to be worn as the last layer of cloth and definitely not tucked under pants. So it seems as if you are trying to do two things at the same time and failling both.
But as i said i'm not in a cold country so the culture might be different and suits are all about culture.
