For what it's worth, I have found that I like the way I look clean shaven as well as the way I look with some stubble. I have only recently attempted to grow out my first full beard + a big mustache. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from people regardless of which one I have done.

Go with makes you confident! I find beards attractive on men. I think some people look 800x better with beards.

Depends, winter/autumn yes, possibly spring as well if it's rainy and cold as it often is where I am. Summer? Probably best to go either stubble or clean shaved.
