No Hot water is fine for a Gi, preferred actually to get your sweat out of it and properly clean it. I have no idea what shit stain you got but DON'T machine dry it. Just hang that bitch up. I've been doing kajukenbo for many years and I'm only on my second gi only because I grew out of my first one (I started fairly young).

OP here, I didn't get a stain on it, it was like scorch marks where the fabric was worn down and scorch colored in that spot.

The bleach I use is only hydrogen peroxide and water, no chlorine or anything. Could that do it?

Also, would it be better to wash them alone, or in a full load? Would one option result in less wear/less chance of burn marks?
