/fa/ I want to get a long lasting and sturdy but still somewhat fashionable leather boot. Heard a lot about Red Wing and Chippewa. What are your recommendations?

I won't recommend a brand, but judge by the construction of the boot first and the brand second.
The next consideration is the type of feet you have. Learn what lasts are used by which brands, and figure out what looks and fits your feet best.
Do you have wide feet?
Then look into Wolverines (they run huge).
Do you have narrow feet?
Look into Justin boots, they are skinny.
Etc. etc.
