I ordered a size larger thinking that since it's an Asian site that the sizes might be a bit smaller even though the description said they're "true to size" but luckily theyre not that much bigger, I normally wear a size 10/10.5 depending on the shoe
But since this site is a little wonky on their versions of a mens us size 10, they usually just get you to measure your feet in cm so I figured out that my foot is 26cm and ordered a size 27cm so a little bit bigger on me, but they're great quality for the price you're paying, just wished they had quicker shipping but 2 weeks isn't too bad

I have never owned boots before. I can see in this thread that there are concerns over materials used and if a specific boot is fit for purpose. What if I just want a boot for fashion purposes? I don't intend to go hiking or doing heavy manual labour. I live in London so I can't justify getting expensive boots for the weather when it's never extreme weather here. These are my work boots. I work in a bakery and they serve me well. Easy to clean with a damp cloth; most things just wipe off. I don't maintain them too much because 1) they're only my work boots and 2) I think most boots look best with a little scuff on them. Timbs are high quality and comfortable as fuck but they're not to everyone's taste looks wise. I think they look alright and sometimes wear mine casually but not often because I think all my other boots look better.

if you wear them often outside and in rain and heat and real weather you should condition them ever couple months
wipe them down every time you take them off and don't wear them every day so the leather has time to rest

Yeah, just put some dubbin on to keep them waterproof and avoid salt, worth conditioning weekly if your using them in snow just to keep them nice. Don't let salt rest on your boots over night as it eats away at the leather, just run a boot brush under the tap and give them a quick rub down on a night

Nah, they were listed as the standard para boots. I messaged them and the best they could offer was a sorry. Makes sense that they'd be the winter variant; they have an extra liner it seems as well as a weird steel toe attachment on the sole.

Yeah they're the winter version, bulkier boots for thicker socks/thermal liner (I believe they make a liner for this boot but its hard to find), full gussets to keep snow out, more aggressive tread for use in harsher conditions, metal section on the front for snow spike attachement and full speed hooks for easy lacing with gloves/cold fingers

Black leather chelseas look incredibly out of place in most casual fits. Dark brown can work, but actually finding the correct shade of brown is pretty fucking frustrating. Suede chelseas are a lot more easily dressed down or up and the browns tend to be darker for some reason.
