This. Most makeup is specifically to enhance feminine features like long eyelashes and pink cheeks and lips. If you have shitty skin you might benefit from foundation, but even that is far more valuable for women since people expect them to have glowing, youthful skin. Nobody gives a fuck if men have rough skin, they just say they look 'rugged'.

Only makeup that works for men is foundation to even/brighten your skin tone and hide dark circles

Im a man, and a non feminine man at that, I have a masculine jawline and decent facial features much like pic related, abd ive actually been wearing makeup since grade school. I view makeup like clothing, theres feminine ways to wear makeup, and masculine ways. I dont over do makeup...i simply wear a foundation to even out my skin tone making it look flawless...jyst like any male celbrity you see at a premiere. (News flash they all do) and its worked just fine for me.
