My gf is getting LASIK today and I'm a little sad because I like the look of glasses on women. I get it's her decision and It's not up to me. Are glasses even /fa/?
some girls look better without glasses ok
Shut up, faggot. She's getting surgery to restore the functionality of her eyes, her arguably most important sensory organs

>tfw eye sight is too shitty and changes too much to be viable for lazer correction
people always look better without glasses, no exceptions

Glasses are cute but her health is more important.
Glasses function as a pleb filter and are always better
you can always wear glasses
sunglasses are certainly /fa/

>just barely qualified for PRK
Dog bless

This. She can also just wear non-prescription glasses.

glasses are a fucking pain in the ass and so are contacts

I was thinking about getting PRK when I had laser eye surgery 2 years ago. Ended up going with a newer procedure called Intralase. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

Doesn't lasik come with its drawbacks though?
Just had LASIK in April. Opted for the advanced wavefront one. 20/20 immediately. My night vision is still improving a tiny bit each day. Being able to wake up and see clearly without glasses or contacts is fucking bliss.

I have great insurance. considering it. are there future draws? problems down the road?

As with any surgery, there'll be drawbacks. One girl who was there on the same day was getting one of her eyes re-done after a few years. If you decide to pay an extra couple hundred and attend all future appointments, LASIK covers you completely for any future problems or surgeries. Lifetime warranty type thing.

Yeah. PRK is the superior procedure to get
