Carefully, focusing on getting one item at a time after saving up and doing the leg work to find the desired items on for the best deals. I'm focusing on building up the essentials though, so I know they'll last me a long time and I'm not worried about experimentation or getting unnecessary shit just for the sake of being trendy.

I thrift a lot. I don't always find stuff though. One thing I look for are pants that fit me in the waist and alter the taper and/or length. I am actually doing some alterations tomorrow with my lady friend. She teaches me sewing stuff, I teach her cooking stuff.

Turn thrifting into a hobby, find the best places, find out when they restock and be selective on what you buy.
