Don't. If your hair is thinning, bleach will just damage it further and make it more brittle. Sometimes genetics fuck us over, but it would be better to focus on changing your diet for the better and taking Keratin supplements.

I agree that coloring it could damage it and make it look more dead/thin. I'd say getting a good volumizing powder or spray is the way to go. I use:

Euphora volumizing spray
Unite Expanda Dust

To clarify: My hair is neither brittle nor thin and unhealthy.
I just have a spot on my scalp where my hair is not as dense (as in hairs per square inch) and my scalp is sometimes slightly visible, if I style my hair incorrectly.
