What's the consensus on the Nike Air Force 1 Low? I need to retire my Asics Gel Lyte V's and as they don't sell the all white model anymore, I'm looking for something that would be a good replacement.
Thoughts?

>Gel Lyte V to AF1
Why are you trying to become basic?
>>12532515
i really like them, especially when they get worn in

i have 2 lows, i love them, but i think the Reebok Classics are closer to the Asics Gel Lyte V or even the Diadora N9000

I'm not much of a sneaker head and I think they look pretty good. Don't get my wrong, I love my pair Gel Lyte V's but I'm not a fan of any of their color patterns. I like all white shoes and it's a shame they don't offer any white on white pattern at the moment.

basic, or classic? depends on the rest of your fit really

Neither am I but Gel Lytes look dope and you don't see a lot of people wearing them, whereas AF1 just seem like a really basic choice IMO

For what it's worth, I have pic related. "Birch" colorway which is a very light off-white suede. Looks dope IRL. Copped on sale for $90 @ Revolve.
The NIKE AF1 are ways more boxier and less "sleeker" than the Asics Gel Model V. If you want to get a "similar" sneaker, look into Reebok Classics, Diadora, or New Balance.
Plus the consensus around Nike AF1 depends heavily on where you live and also how you wear them/what you wear with them. Some people can make it look like a cool "dad" beater shoe while other can make it look like a trashy drug dealer shoe.
