Will it become a fashion statement one day to ironically crack your phone screen on purpose?
I hope so. Easier to identify who's careless and stupid with expensive things.

teach me, i drop my phone like twice a yeat
I have a 5c so its quite easy to order a replacement screen and fix it myself, cant see broken screens ever becoming a serious fashion statement tho, are broken glasses or broken watches a thing?

It already kinda was during the 4/4s days. I heard of bitches purposefully cracking their screens and the glass back because some reason Tumblrcore bitches are retarded and edgy and put effort into looking careless.

drunk people
In the 3 smartphones I've had I've dropped my phone exactly twice and received minor damage to the frame both times despite it being in the case. I have never dropped my first one or my current one. People with shattered screens disgust me.
I have owned a few phones throughout the years and never have i dropped it and cracked the screen.
I don't use phone cases either. The only time I had a phone with a cracked screen I wasnt the one who dropped it.
1st time: Showing friend pictures on my phone he grabs it and he starts scrolling and drops it. Cracks the back of my Galaxy phone.
2nd time: at a bar chick friend wants to make a call and uses it and dissapears for a bit. Returns phone with screen shattered.
Moral of the story dont let people hold your phone.
>To answer your question OP. Yes.

I've dropped all of mine extensively. only had to replace the screen once
>Drop phone 60 times from 6 feet on rough concrete: nothing.
>Drop phone once from one feet on soft parquet: screen broken.
How does it work?
