yeah you realise modeling is a community, which, if you aren't in, you're out. models are used to waiting around in front of hundreds of random people who they've never met, and will never meet again. the models and the top fashion workers are the only people who will see each other again so they talk to each other because everybody else is desperate to talk to models and its weird

also you're doing it wrong. the only way you get by at fashion parties is by:
a) getting extremely drunk
b) not giving a fuck
c) making sure everybody else gets extremely drunk, and letting everybody know its you who's doing it

but if you're not a model you probably can't do that because youre probably just crashing the party, and didn't do anything to contribute to the event that the party is celebrating
