I worked in America for a year, I wasn't in the most fashionable place (Detroit and Chicago, yes I survived) but I was amazed how cheap American brands like Levis, Dickies and Carhartt were compared to here
So answer is find american brands, also the OP shops were a lot better than here in Aus
