I'm gonna be growing my hair out as long as I can. The back and sides are way shorter than the top, as I had them kept short, but I'm gonna be growing it all out.

I'm gonna be taking Biotin, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Saw Palmetto, and I'm washing my hair with Caffeine and Keratin shampoo.

Any tips for keeping care of my hair, or anything else I should know?

Well what do you want to grow it out into? That decides how you should get it cut.
You probably should just get the top cut to allow the sides to catch up and blend in. Or if you want to keep the top length then just wait and let the sides grow out while getting a slight touch up on top periodically. That's what I've been doing, same situation.

Hair doesn't grow back thicker. But I have a similar problem from my Mediterranean ancestors. What I do is use clippers to keep body hair to an appropriate length. Below the knee gets a 3, above the knee legs and forearms are a two, upper arms and crotch get a one. Have fun. Whole process takes about an hour every two weeks.

Volume is an easy fix with a blowdrier and product. I've been a big fan of shorter undercuts recently. You could try pic related. Ronaldo always has the same cut but can style it a million ways depending on the occasion.

I've been wearing the slicked back, shaved sides thing for a couple of years now. Getting really bored with it. I'm looking for a similar style but growing the sides out a bit and not having the top so long as I'm fed up of the slick look. Problem is, my hair is really straight and fine and when I try a rougher swept back look, it just falls apart even with copious amounts of product and spray.

What should I do with my hair next. It's late at night and in pic it's kinda messy, but otherwise it's kinda clean. It started off as a Comb over and it just kept growing and I kept on getting a fade on the sides. It looks kinda nice.

What should I ask my barber for when wanting an Anderson Cooper style cut? I don't want to bring a picture because I'm afraid of looking like a faggot, but I'm not sure on hairstyle names.

Recently decided to grow my hair out and the gel I currently use just isn't cutting it; what are some good gels that I can use to keep my hair somewhat back that I don't have to keep reapplying every 3 hours?

picture is me a couple years ago, my hair is still the same except that its a few inches longer. i don't take pictures because i fucking hate myself and i don't end up in any social situations where people take pictures of me, so this is the best i have. you should be able to tell my hair type from it.

I've been a lazy fat loser for years. I'm already working on getting /fit/, lost about 20 pounds in about 6 weeks, but I also have approximately shoulder blade-length frizzy, somewhat curly/wavy brown hair. i'm white, for what thats worth. the hair on top of my head is pretty straight and lies flat, i've got a slightly receded hairline. my hair is thin. i also have a really big head.

can anyone please recommend a simple, low-maintenance hairstyle? even just a photo i can show to a barber would be fantastic. i'm not dead set on anything specific like keeping it long, in fact i think i'd like to get it short to put a kind of exclamation point on my commitment to change and self improvement.

people who care about me have been telling me with varying degrees of tact that i need a haircut for years and i wanna stop letting them down. it's almost become a point of pride, of stubbornness, but it's really just gross and makes me look pathetic and lazy.

My hair is like this naturally, for the most part. In the picture is second day hair. Sometimes I tie up my hair after showering and spray the tied hair with sea salt spray which can help get the ends a bit more curly.

Honestly, not a bad hairstyle. Looks good, but you could try curving your fringe, more, instead of starting by combing it way up the forehead, and slant it across the forehead more flat. See how that looks. This wouldn't need to involve a new haircut, just combing differently.
