What do you think are some differences between 'Black' style and aesthetics vs 'White' style and aesthetics?
Ethnic clothing like Dashikis have the potential to be outstanding, but I don't think there are nearly enough people who wear it well.

A white person would get called out for cultural appropriation for were ethnically african clothing. Sweatpants suit black people in public, because that's what you expect those people to wear.
White people with sweatpants (in public!) is just sad, expect if jogging, excercising etc

Small anecdote, but I had this conversation with a few black people who said they identify as black not African American because of this.

A guy I know in college started this NFP where they bought African pattern fabrics (fairtrade sustainable eco blah blah blah) and made jackets and shit out of them. Some are pretty fresh
