Because it is standard, it's safe street wear. Popular brands and sizing that no one will make negative comments about. Dude with the pink hoodie and blonde highlights stands out and doesn't look terrible but the rest are clearly dressed to just fit in. Low effort but they're all teenagers that met on an internet forum so they are likely still new to styling themselves and probably haven't gotten into thrifting, and incorporating different designer pieces into interesting outfits. If they keep at it and really love clothes they'll mature into more interesting styling.
And streetwear isn't that interesting these days because it's becoming the norm so there's that.

I met these guys as one of my friends introduced me to them. I basically was an observer. I wasn't really part of this but I go wherever things take me. I didn't really spend too much time with them but they were a nice bunch. Honestly they were just people who met up and good friends with each other. They seemed like they were into street fashion.
