Going to get an eye exam. What should I know about picking frames? I've never had to deal with wearing glasses and I'm worried about having to work with an extra accessory every day. Somewhere between oval and oblong face shape.
Post face. I can help you
Not op, but I also have the same problem, looking for sunglasses.

lose some weight by improving your diet and lifting/going to the gym

I know I need to lose weight, I have been working on it already. I have lost 100 lbs in 9 months. I want to get into fashion while I am getting healthier. That's why I am here.

Great work man. Keep it up.
Trying on new frames is a pain in the ass. Just take your time in the store and don't worry about being rushed

How old are you?

my advice is buzzcut once you get skinny (you'd make a good baldy), and focus only on weight loss in the mean time. really good job already

what is best haircut for oblong face?

A good shop will help you pick a frame based on your face shape, nose shape, hair, general style, etc.
There's more that goes into picking glasses than just face shape. Bridge shape is especially important.
