Summer is approaching fast, and I'm back in the mood to actually look presentable.
I live in a very very warm country (during the summer at least), is something like this pic the only comfortable good looking outfit you can do? I'm struggling to think of anything else apart from chino shorts, stan smith equivalent and casual fit t-shirt.

You and me both friend. Some people do light-colored linen pants in the summer and I could see how that works too

for chino shorts I would expand my colors to navy tan gray and black, etc. I also love jean shorts but those are contreversal but fucking girls wear them all the time so idk
T shirts you can do plain pocket t or no pocket in black white gray earth tones and unsaturated pastel colors. I also might cop some gosha sputnik1985 or stromoctober for the summer
For a dressy summer outfit you could do any type of loafer with no show socks and chino shorts. Match the brown of your belt with the loafer and tuck a white oxford in your pants and cuff your sleeves. Optional match a brown watch.
Also copping these to wear with my white retro reeboks or airmforces for a very casual outfit

Also try a light summer linen pant in maybe light stone. I would wear them slim fitting and cropped.

Choose softer colors for spring. Pale pink, pal green, pale blue. If your not comfortable wearing colors then incorporate with your accessorie, e.g. Pastel blue shoes.
Also pair these colors with white, taupe, or grey instead of black
