How do I tell if my leather boots are too small or just not broken-in?
Also, any tips on breaking in new boots?
These are some military surplus parade boots I own, and they dont feel at all comfortable to walk in and are kind of a pain to put on + take off. But they dont feel physically too small for my feet or anything, so idk.
Help?

you need to break them in.... the leather is too stiff. i suggest and it sounds silly, take a hot shower with them on, then get dressed and walk for a mile or two, climb shit. you will break them in and it will fit 100xs better. we did this in the Army when i first enlisted before the desert boots were issued. its crazy how it works.
