I want to dye my hair blonde (as a male) but I'm preoccupied with the potential damage I could do to my hair
I don't mind if it's temporary, but can dying my hair (I have naturally brown hair) PERMANENTLY damage it in some way? If the damage it potentially yields is temporary then I'll go ahead with it but if it'll permanently affect my texture or richness or something, because I have really thick luscious hair naturally, then I'd rather not

Go to a barber

Yes I know where to potentially get it done, that's not my question at all
i dyed my hair blond as a male and i see no difference after shaving and regrowing

lmao barbers arn't colourists
it wont do anything to the regrowth in two weeks time but the hair that gets bleached will be fucked
Bump for more opinions
Alright listen up.
Bleach will permanently damage your hair until it grows out. There's no mask that will fix it, it will just cover up the damage and make your hair feel softer.
BUT
the damage isn't as bad as people make you think. You really only need to worry if your hair is thin or you over process the hair in too short a period. If you have natural hair and it's thick, then you shouldn't have to worry.
And if you're willing to spend money then there's this product called "olaplex" which is the only product on the market that will actually heal any damage done to your hair.
As your hair stylist if they have olaplex available.

Ehhh
>blonde
No
>(as a male)
NO
Only the hair you bleach will be damaged. Bleaching your hair no matter what is going to cause some damage, it comes down to your hair texture in terms of how well your hair takes it and that you do it progressively instead of in one sitting, especially if you're going from dark to platinum.
I get my hair bleached all the time and my hair is damaged as fuck (I also apply heat to it regularly so it's heat damaged), but my hair texture allows me to pull it off (it doesn't look as damaged as it actually is) and I have a very thick head of hair.

1. It's fucking hair, it grows back.
2. There are ways (like oil treatments) to reduce damage.
3. Only permanent damage is from chemicals leaking into your skin and giving you face cancer.
If your hair is thick like a Spaniard as long as you don't let it drip all over your roots you'll be fine. Also don't dye your hair blonde unless it would look natural on you.
