I'm starting to like American Eagle, it's basically what replaced Old Navy for me (I swear Old Navy had better quality before, right?). Nice simple comfortable things in clearance often.
What should I expect from their jeans after some washes? I just got some 28x28 slim (I'm a small guy) and it fits nice. I usually buy Levi 511s though.
I'll probably be buying more for sure. Seems /fa/-approved ain't it?
Just a couple years back when i was fat, I would buy a 3 pack of Old Navy wife beaters (perfect for my gyno back then, also 100% cotton) for like $2 each.
Nowadays, they increased their price by like 350%
Not /fa/ approved as it's HS-tier stuff.
HOWEVER, after they bought out Todd Snyder their quality has really improved and if you're broke you should buy basics from them.

are you really tellin the truth boy or u stretchin that sonofabitch to make a point?
>>12244805
You only think it's HS tier stuff because it was what Chads wore when you were in high school.
AE today is assuredly not making the same stuff they were making in 2005.
Not saying it's super /fa/ or anything it's just you've got nostalgia goggles on.
AE is really no different than like a GAP or Uniqlo.

Not him but I can confirm he's not bullshitting, old navy is ridic
>>12244818
They're still worn by HS Chads here in the midwest.
>>12244835
Right but it's not like AE makes a bunch of cargo shorts and gaudy graphic tees and shit like they did 10-12 years ago. A lot of their stuff looks fine just looking at the website.
>>12244805
Are their shirts long or are they fitted?
>>12244841
True. Embroidered logos are still shit tho.
>>12244845
Haven't been there in a year, so I can't help you there.
>>12244818
the branding is much worse and more apparent. it's also way to expensive for subpar clothing similar to Tommy Hil

I was 25-30% bodyfat and big ass gyno. So I would wear size S wife beater. Old Navy sold them for like $2. Not anymore tho
AE is a great place now for basics, especially jeans. Their flex series is fucking great.

These AE v neck shirts have almost taken over my wardrobe. They're great for everything. I can sleep in them, I can just wear one with little thought about what I look like and still look ok, and they are like 10-15 bucks sometimes 7 if you can find them on sale

tfw just had gyno surgery
My chest looks perfect now, it's absolutely worth it
>>12245399
How much it cost you?
Old Navy was never good quality, they're the original one-season disposables.
>>12245421
3000 Canadian, but it was covered by the socialized healthcare system because I complained to my shrink about how it was causing me mental distress
Out of pocket it'd still be worth it
Nothing says "I love 21 pilots" more than shopping at AE for new elastic skinny jeans to wear cuffed above your old stool vans without any socks
