>search "boots" on Grailed
>page is filled with Yeezy Boost nonsense that people just bought (with bots) to resell
First, why is the search feature for Grailed so shitty? I wanted "boots;" I clearly didn't misspell it. Second, why is the site filled with hypebeast resale garbage?
>>12232662
they probably misspelled boosts
>>12232668
There are literally hundreds on my search page. I can't imagine hypebeast flippers would ALL be that stupid.
>>12232677
they bought yeezys how much faith do you have in them
>>12232704
I really don't. But still, could they be abusing tags or something?
Or, is Grailed just being overzealous with replacing words that are similar to others (to compensate for idiot phoneposters)?
>>12232662
Maybe you should look for something more specific or refine by size or designer or colour. The search function is actually well-programmed if it's accounting for typos that people make (especially for common searches).
>>12232662
>top menu
>mouse-over footwear
>left menu
>click boots
>bunch of boots with no Yeezys
Why are you searching for something so broad...
>>12232722
Right, but it really shouldn't replace "boots" with "boosts."
>>12232759
I do search specific designers, but sometimes I want to do a general search in case I see items pop up from designers I'm not as familiar with.
>type Raf
>autocorrects to Rag
>delete and try again
>Rag
>do it slowly
>still Rag
>mfw
>type Helmut
>auto corrects to helmet
>delete and try again
>helmet
>mfw
>type (ANY DESIGNER)
>press enter
>supreme shows up
>mfw
>type Ann Demulemeester
>search
>oops forgot a letter
>can't correct what I have, so I have to type everything back all over again
>mfw
>seller has a cool item I really want
>message him
>no response to me or anyone for over a year
>gets sold
>mfw
GRAILED, FIX THISSSS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>12233001
There's a specific search function dedicated to searching designers and it works very well.
>>12232662
It's not, you're just absolute shit at using grailed. Site is so easy to use fucking autist.
>>12233103
the site is absolute trash and needs to be razed
>>12232662
Is this on mobile? I search up boots and it doesn't bring up anything having to do with boost.
>>12233164
No, in-browser.
>>12233001
Lol
>>12234237
new to the internet?
>>12234287
So, basically, the top search bar doesn't work properly, and you have to use the tags on the sides?
>>12234292
the top bar does some aggressive preemptive autocorrections when you search for short single words.
Works only well for full item names like "Margiela Future High"
