Can you wash jeans normally in the washer or is the Levi's CEO right about it ruining them? I've got some black levi jeans I recently bought and was wondering if I just stick them in the freezer or if I could just turn them inside out and wash them with my other clothes?

My friend only raw denim autists are concerned about this sort of thing. Be real, be authentic, you think workers in the 1970's avoided washing their denim to get fades? No, they threw their fucking work clothes in the wash when they got dirty! They banned me from /r/rawdenim

I'll just wash it then, like it instructs on the tag.

It's really not that hard dude, fill up a tub with water, put in some detergent, turn pants inside out and leave them in for an hour, then hang dry.

this is just on the other side of the spectrum, and just as autistic.
they're your jeans do what you want. putting clothes in a washer/dryer will clean them but it also stresses the fabric and degrades them to some degree.
Tommy Hillfigger does not wash his jeans.
Depends on your lifestyle really. If they are caked in mud/dust then go ahead, most stains dry on the surface and flake off without you knowing.
Just wash them on the lowest spin at 30 inside out. Don't put them in a dryer though.

he probably only wears them a couple of times as well
