Satin pillowcases and a boar bristle brush are all i can recommend.
I don't know how a head message thing works, but I doubt it physically scrapes sebum all the way down your hair follicles. And combing isn't a good idea - you want a brush, and specifically a boar bristle brush, since you have fine hair.

please forgive the crude I dew to help explain my question. I also hope such questions are welcome here.

I'm trying to figure out the name of this hair style I use on almost a daily basis, usually when Im busy and I don't want hair in my eyes. People have called it a man bun, but I don't think it's quite right.

Anyways I start off by pulling my hair back in a ponytail, bind it twice with a hairband, then I bend the ponytail till the tip hits the base, then I bind it once more.

Can anyone here shad some light to the name of this style? I know this is probably a really stupid question, but I got in a conversation about this with a friend and I would like a name to explain my hairstyle.
