Hi /fa/
I posted this in /g/ but I hope the style aspect of my question could find help here too.
I recently purchased my fiance the Fossil Q Marshall smartwatch for Christmas since I knew itd match his style, but I'm second guessing its functionalty now considering he currently uses an iPhone 6. While the Watch does support iOS 8.2+, I read (through a very slim amount of reviews relevant to my concern) that its very limited functionalty in to comparison if he had an Android phone. Would it be worthwhile to return it and get him an Apple Watch 2 instead? It was roughly the same price, but the Apple watch doesnt nearly look as nice.
No one cares, sorry

It looks p ugly

Ignore the "No one cares" fag. Return it and get the Apple watch. For an iPhone user, he'll want the additional functionality over the style. I do wish Apple would give customers a wider choice of styles, but it still seems a better choice than a smart watch with limited functionality.

As far as /fa/ advice goes, spend the money on a watch that will last and doesn't need to be upgraded in a year or two. Get a nice watch you see in the watch threads on /g/.
As far as /g/ advice goes, yes the apple watch is part of the Apple ecosystem so he'll get 100% functionality out of that purchase.
But seriously buy him a good Seiko instead...

Again, I'm really trying to hit this point home, a smartwatch is a fun toy but it isn't really a great gift.
Try the Hamilton Khak or maybe the Orient Defender.

TRUE. FUCK SMART WATCHES LOL. I guess apple watch is pretty pricey but honestly don't get that as a gift, if someone didn't buy it themselves they won't really want it. Whereas a good-looking watch will be useful for a lifetime *even though* someone has a phone they can use to tell the time.
Just my 2 cents.
