buy it used. these jackets are build to last a lifetime and they look even better when old.

its the liner that smells since you cant wash it seperately and one sweats a lot in these jackets

i bought a vintage used one and it started to smell after a few hours of rain in which it got wet because the waxing was in a bad shape

i turned the inside out and sprayed the liner in a teatreeoil solution and let it dry in the sun; did this three times and now it smells just a little like the wax
