just cut off the things on the sides that hold the laces
pic is not mine but i did it and it looks exactly like that
it takes around 15 minutes with an exacto knife or similar

it's the most comfy shoe possible. no laces, so it takes less than a second to put them on. they are extremely light. and they are tight enough, so dont worry about your feet wobbling around inside.
