What kind of hairstyle could I go with that would look decent on me? Here's what you do

Start shampooing less (i used to shampoo daily but now only 1-2x a week)
Get a leave in conditioner (put this in when your hair is still quite wet and you're out of the shower. It'll make it a lot softer once dry. I personally love the SheaMoisture brand and loreal extraordinary oil leave in conditioners. I use them daily or every other day.
Stop combing or brushing your hair if you do right now. Your hair isnt going to be straight so dont bother trying to make it like that. Let it curl.

So lads, I'm torn on what to do with my hair (or lack thereof).
I could leave it as it is, but this little bit of hair on the top of my head quite honestly looks like shit.
If I buzz it down to a 1 or 2 guard, I feel like it has the same problem. The little patch of fuzz on the top of my head screams of insecurity and denial to me.
I could shave it all the way, but I'm kind of insecure about my head size/shape. I feel like my big forehead+head will just make me look weird as fuck with my giant dome. This could potentially be offset if I get glasses soon (which I might)

No bully please, finally got courage to post.
I used to have very long hair but got into pretty long depression episode and neglected it to the point I had to cut it off couple of months ago, it's starting to grow a bit but still so short and I have no idea what to do with it. I'm always putting caps when I go outdoors and really uncomfortable to show my hair.
Decided to man up and gain some confidence. Was thinking either to cut it short twiggy style maybe go for andro look but idk if I can pull it off cause I'm too short. Or do a side shave, but think it's too edgy for me. The problem I have with both options is that I'll have to wait even longer till hair gets long again.

How do you dry it? You should do it with a good blowdryer, guiding the hair back. Also, I would recommend using some product like a pomade, a gel or a paste - not many young men can pull off the slickback with just hairspray. If you can't style it with a comb, try a brush - it won't be as sleek, but it's easier when you have really stiff hair. Lastly, try using a leave-in conditioner or a 2in1 shampoo, it makes hair easier to style.

I'm almost 30 and I can get a proper beard, I dress shiacore a lot of the time and my current hairdo clashes pretty hard with that style (I haven't had a haircut in 4 months). Will take it under advisement. I don't particularly "like" how I look with my hair back but it's a utility thing at this point. Although it does seem to look better after s while when some of the hair on the front and sides is no longer held back.

I don't like using product, I already wash my hair twice a day because I constantly feel dirty, having things in my hair to get it to stay back feels awful.

Going with my initial idea of Reynold's hairstyle would allow me to use no product and still not end up with hair on my forehead.

I also want to try having short sides as I keep going from messy hair like in that picture to long hair enough to tie, then back to messy hair, without ever trying very short hair in between.

I don't like my full on beard shape, but I generally shave once every few weeks so I have some facial hair going usually.

So I just got a shitty haircut and I look like a drill sergeant with a fuckin trapezoidal head. I'm pretty sure I didnt walk in and say "fuck my shit up senpai" but it happened.
