The problem may not be the length. Its the fact that the ankle is very loose - this is indicative of a cheap boot. The ankle elastic and hole is supposed to be tight and form fitting to your foot, not loose and open like that. This is why everyone tells you not to bother with Chelseas unless you are willing to dish out some guap for at least a mid-range pair. The low end brands don't care for that kind of detail. Even a lot of high end brands fuck up in this regard. Return those pieces of shit and buy a pair of Story Et Falls on Grailed for $150-300
