Has anyone here bought sample shoes before? Am I about to fuck up?
I found these in my size for like half retail.
But the guy is like "please realize you get whats in the pictures and I can't offer a refund"
Is there something fucked up with them?
wtf are these abominations
>>11873136
ugly af why would you buy these?
>>11873138
Y-3 Super Zips Stan Smiths.
I can't tell if theres something off. The leather strip seems a little wider I guess.
>>11873148
i feel like you only bought these because of the name and the price?
>>11873142
Because I like things you don't like?
>>11873154
I didn't buy them yet. And yeah, I wouldnt pay 340 bucks for any sneaker.
>>11873155
oh so do u like fat sweaty man ass in ur mouth? fucking fag with ur gay ass shoes
>>11873136
no
they are just samples you retard
>>11873136
Most sample products are fine. Worst case scenario they've sat on someone's desk for a period of time before handing off to the studio to shoot.

Thanks for the real response. Are there generally differences in quality?
Something about the stitching looks a little off.
>>11873179
Just pay through paypal anyways so youre covered if theyre is something wrong with them
>>11873184
Even if they're advertised as "as-is samples"?
>>11873179
As someone who had also worked with "samples" before, there usually isn't any sort of defect. At least there won't be visible ones, as they could be samples for photo shoots and obviously you wouldn't want obvious defects to be seen in promo shots or advertising.
Keep in mind some people will lie and call things samples when they are in fact fakes of less common items. I've seen stuff like that on grailed before. Couldn't tell you if this is the case or not, I don't follow Y3 and don't know what to compare them to.
>>11873179
There should be no difference in quality from a sample versus what you find at the store
>>11873213
I just figured such an uncommon shoe wasn't fakes. It doesn't seem hyped.
>>11873218
Yeah, I can see why...
>>11873218
Just pointing out a possibility. Doesn't necessarily mean those are fakes.

You can say final sale all you want as a seller but if you get them and they fall apart and he didn't properly disclose that then you get your money back
samples are fine, no those aren't fake. it means the tags will be x'd out usually. good find.
