I'm pretty sure they are. Sleeves? Did the ones you tried on have the liners inside? Presumably the liner alters the sleeve fit.

That's not a M65

Actual response here. M65 Jackets were meant to be worn over your uniform and a sweater. Also, real M65 jackets have a section of velcro on the cuffs, allowing you to both tighten the cuff and fold it partially in on itself.

For example, my uniform size is Medium-Regular. However, a Small-Regular M65 fits me perfectly, and looks much better.

So yes, they are supposed to run big. If you buy a real one, order it one size down and you will still have a little room for the liner and a sweater maybe.
