What's gonna be some new (good) trends arising? I heard talk of baggier fits and baggier cut clothing a few months back, but I'm interested to see what the rest of you would speculate too
IMO a lot of people here are just wearing 90s fits. Baggier fits are coming around as well, with jeans though I would say well snug is still in style, but im a faggot so i dont know shit.
high rise obv
more backlash against 2000s derived clothing hopefully

Higher rises and wider silhouettes, color palettes inspired by the 70s, mustard, browns, olive. Streetwear will embrace baggier jeans and chunkier sneakers too.
new rising trend is retro sneakers/tennis shoes like GATs and reebok club c, new balance court. people are moving away from skinny low rise jeans and cuffing more than stacking.
my prediction is that cargo pockets will make a comeback.

> my prediction is that cargo pockets will make a comeback.
I can't tell if you are being tongue in cheek. God I hope so.
It's very amusing to witness fashion going full circle. I was a teenager in the 90s. We wore huge baggy jeans (as skaters or gangsters) as a backlash against that faggy, uptight, seinfeld tight jeans look. We also wore the exact same air jordans they have now, air max, and even those retarded plain white reebok tennis shoes you kid eat up.
Everything is retro retro retro. Can't millennials come up with something fresh to call their own? Oh right. You have yeezy sneakers.
Does anybody know wc2 loose pants & jeans? God I just asked a stupid question
>>11859051
you realise fashion is on a 20 year cycle
millennials arent the only generation ever to recycle the past
stop with the juvenoia man
>>11859064
dw lol its hard to start
try yohji, levis has some mid rise big cuts like the 550's and 560's, acne has some loose ones
>>11858328
i love the loose clothing trend but sadly im too short to ride it lol
>>11858328
tfw you have a stockpile of loose corduroys from the 90s

>>11859070
i'll take a few off ur hands
>>11859064
dickies loose fit, double knee... just have to find the waist and length size that fits you best, hemming helps. They have really good loose fit cargos as well, ive been wearing all colors of each for 2 years or so now
>>11858328

>>11859051
>Raging against millennials
Go to bed grandpa
this style seems to be pretty trendy
>>11859069
>you realise fashion is on a 20 year cycle
This is only normie fashion, high fashion is constantly evolving/innovating
>>11859209
dont be such an elitist
of course i meant mainstream fashion, obviously avant garde artwork doesnt follow a 20 year cycle
>>11859172
pretty sure i once saw someone id them as cdgh, i tried searching around but couldn't find anything
why is old cdg so hard to cop? ;_;
>>11859172
(its because of the photography and how handsome he is)
kentaro can make anything look good
>>11858328
Loose fit tops have been popular for a while, loose fit pants are about to hit too. I can tell because I used to be a huge fan of skinny jeans and now I can't even wear them any more just all of a sudden. Rocking my 501s 5x more than my 510s
>>11859209
God, this post made me cringe.
holy shit everyone is going to look so bad soon like trashbags or hobos
fucking rapper aids
that's the new style coming it's called rapper aids
loose top and skinny jeans will be my look forever
there are no trends
>>11859201
i don't see any style there at all
Idk somehow what i think about wearing always be trend. I'm gonna get attacked by this, but it's true, like maybe coincidence ? But lately i've been thinking about this shoe. I think this shoe will also be trending. Because i think about it.
>>11859201
In 2012, yeah
>>11861027
Gel Lyte IIIs have already been trending for a year in germany (and propably in the US too), especially the lighter colorways
>>11858869

>>11860938

>>11861151
Why should they become a trend? We have all black reeboks trending already and these look very similar
>>11860938
>loose top, skinny jeans
actual aids
also, having a forever look is pretty awful too, stop shitposting.
Emo is on the rise
>>11859064
Thrift nigga
>>11860938
I'm with you, dude
The amount of contrarianism it takes to believe that anyone but a few VERY tall and VERY masculine men (needless to say, also VERY attractive) can pull this off is staggering. The WAYWT threads are full of these
>umm... lol only fags wear slims... /fa/ said loose would look good
manlet faggots these days and it's just hilarious
>>11858328
I really wish corsets or whatever this style of dress is called would catch on and become more prevalent in casual settings.
All it would take is paparazzi catching some basic-ass hollywood actresses wearing some of these, and it'd most likely catch on like wildfire, my dick needs this...
>>11861171
W-which one ? Shit, i don't know that, i should be at the front row for trends, this is supposed to be something i'm good at. Any inspo for the black reeboks ?
>>11861398
damn true
>>11859638
definitely true, but that is still an extremely comfy fit that would easily work itself into my daily
>>11860938
>loose top and skinny jeans will be my look forever
the cringe is too real. fuck off back to r/streetwear kid.
>>11861159
o shi....goddamn gobs
>>11858328
Lots of my artschool classmates are wearing loose or/and vintage thriftstore stuff
Its look better( imo) then normiecore around here
will these ever have a comeback?
>>11860938
agreed, rappel aids
>>11859209
i mean you also realize that many, many designers take inspiration from archives (either of their own or of the house they're working with) and also take inspiration from past decades right
