Yes, OP, if you regularly take large/massive quantities of vitamin c it will heal faster.

Take a large amount every three or four hours, but please be aware that vitamin c has a pronounced laxative effect.

You'll go to the bathroom a lot, but it WILL work. It will help tremendously.

Also, consider taking a tablespoon or two of Metamucil once a day. This will noticeably improve your quality of life - I swear.

Last thing: if you can obtain bulk sodium ascorbate powder, that's the best form to take it in. It's second only to intravenous vitamin c, and, aruably, liposomal forms, which actually don't work as well as they're claimed to, in my opinion. Anyway, sodium ascorbate powder tastes like salt, and you can make a delicious drink by mixing spoonfuls of it with salt-free tomato juice. If the tomato juice isn't salt-free or low-sodium, it just doesn't taste good. It's way too salty.
