What are the rules on jewelry for men? My mother got me a silver

It's got a story attached to it, which is very cool in my opinion, so I'd wear it.

Wear it under the shirt (like Frodo mostly does).

It won't flop around, and you'll still have it against your heart for sentimental reasons. Yes, people won't see the ring itself, but they will at least see the chain, which is pretty inoffensive.

Just keep it under your shirt or jacket. Flaunt off jewelry looks awful, since its sentimental just do it if it means that much to you.
