Yup. I get the same thing if I use clay pomade for 2 days without washing it out with a shampoo.
It really looks like that, strings of hair just sticking to each other because of grease/wax

And yeah, it's just not washing with shampoo and using wax or some shit. try to find something that works for you. Do you have any products at home already?
