W2C blazer
So I have this vintage surplus pants and military boots (pic related).
Any suggestions what kind of jacket would work good with it? Also I don't want full on cosplay, but rather something more urban.
Looking for pants that would be a material that doesn't look stupid against combat boots / a military parka and all.
I was looking at BDUs but the pockets are annoying senpai.
>>11546091
>Blazer
Those look like Timberland jackets.
>>11545877
One of the best fits I have seen on /fa/
I don't think you could ever get dressed /military/ without someone thinking you are doing a WWI/WWII reinactment or you're actually in the military.
I needs to be alot more subtle.
>>11546094
you should make shorts out of those pants.
These patterns don't work on long pants imho but they might work on shorts.
How can i be /fa/ as the taliban?

>>11546324
Of course senpai
>>11546997
Of course I have. I know the soldier there is from one of, most likely the second Chechen War.
Issue again is his buttons are covered so it's hard to identify, and no combination of search terms gets that one poncho

Well yeah, wz. 68, the kind used by fire department. They are awesome, I wouldn't actually cut them, tho I have like 3 pairs of those, but the other two are sadly stained with some kind of grease
>>11547644
I figured that much. The thing is what kind of jacket would work best with it. Bulky, loose, skinny, long, short? I don't really know what silhouette I should aim for with this kind of pants.
>>11547718

>>11547730
Yes, I'm in Poland. I got them from my father, he served in fire department instead of compulsory military service.
Well, I don't really remember how badly they're stained and I don't have them at my place now.
They're tucked somewhere in my father's basement. Tho I'm sure there were some pretty visible stains that wouldn't go off even in wash.
Are you interested in them?

M05 combat boots are not even close to /fa/. From another angle they look very bulky and bubbly barbie shoes. They are built on the same platform as safety shoes by the manufacturer.
I'm not at home but compared to my winter leather boots my M05 look huge and in a bad way.
Also everything flecktarn in Europe has been played out and ultra lame since early 2000s because it is so cheap. Jackets, pants, shirts 1€ to under 10€ a piece.
>>11547391
>>11549452
Finnish M05 combat boot made by multiple manufacturers depending on the year like military gear usually is. Dyed flecktarn jacket anon has Sievi or LaJa but not Jalas. Difference is the sole.

That was back in December, and was an issue with some infrastructure / a control sort of some other.

Depends on what needs to be done.
I've got a sewing machine and an overlock machine so if the waist fits and it's just the legs that need to be tapered I can do it myself or get it done in the upholstery dept. at work if it's leather or something similarly tough.
If it's something that needs to get the seat redone I'll take it to the tailor I used before I got my own stuff.
Just tapering legs is cheap though. Twenty bucks at most.

Thanks man
how much should a denim long sleeve shirt run me?
>>11565649
I think I got the last of the ones in that pattern, but they have flat colours and other stuff available. Oh the jungle boots are knock-offs. Mil-tec.
>>11565658
w2c???????????????????
>>11565658
Alright, I'll check em out. Thanks. Btw, are there any other milsurp sites i should check out?
>>11565678
Arktis, but they're out of them in Comb Grey.
They do other patterns and colours, for example:

>>11565688
Everything I got is UK based like me. MilitaryMart for cheap stuff that's sometimes interesting. GBF Militaria for rarer patterns at a price. Varusteleka occasionally make their own stuff but you pay for it.
>>11565710
much love mate :)
>>11564435
I've got some tapered cargos from American Vintage that don't look out of place with that sort of stuff.
The elasticated hems might be an issue, though you can't see that if you tuck em into your boots.
>>11565308
>miss out on last karst parka
>shard smock sold out in .S
>now gouging my eyes out with sick dispersion duffel
why do you make me suffer so telny?
>>11565736
Bad luck m8. Limited run stuff makes me rock hard, metaphorically speaking.

Not stretch to a medium?
>>11565767

Also you might find this interesting:

>picked up some sweet pilot pants today though
>>11565767
No, a small would already be pretty big on me. I'd drown in a medium, I'm pretty sure.
>>11565774
That is really tempting. Especially at that price.
I think I'll have to get one on the off chance I'll find a smock in S somewhere. That's too cool to pass out on.
Thanks!
>>11565781
w2c, those look fantastic
>>11565781
That reminds me of something I've been meaning to buy for ages.
Also imagine my absolute butthurt when I missed out on
>>11565802
this monstrosity.
>>11565796
As usual: local milsurp store.
>>11565804
That looks sick from the back. Shards/geometrical camo is always a winner in my books.
How much did it go for?
>>11565832
£50. I honestly didn't think it would sell, so I was going to wait for them to relist it and see if I could get it cheaper. But some guy bid at the last minute. My own fault really.
>>11556392
I've heard about these guys: http://p1gtac.com
They're developing experimental uniforms and patterns for the army, some of the patterns they produce are pretty authentic.
Also check for vintage butan and dubok patterns.
>>11565834
>losing out on a cool piece at the utter last minute
Sounds familiar karstman :^)
Couldn't for the life of me imagine a fit around it though. What were you going to do with it?
You wouldn't happen to have/have experience with an A210, by the way?
>>11565892
is dat some knoch jacket?
>>11565892
Oh I don;t plan fits, I just throw stuff together and sometimes it works.
The mammoth shirts? Nope.
>>11545913
What camo is this? I think it'll work for my environment.
>>11565962
It's italian M1929 telo mimetico. They have a couple of different versions, but it;s readily available.

>>11553944
what pants?
>>11566005
German Desert flecktarn (Tropentarn) shirt.
S2000 south african padded jacket.
Austrian peadot parka.
British DPM shirt.
French CCE jacket, there are a couple of different cuts and pocket arrangements so watch out for that.
Alpenflauge shirt.
>>11553944
and what boots?
>>11566017
Pair of Doc Martens. I don;t have a model name for them or anything, I bought them years ago.
>>11561242
Tee needs to go no matter what.
Pants preferably also.
>>11566015
Hey m8 is there any place where I can get a mint/good condition austrian pea dot? I have one but pattern outside is faded. The fabric inside the hood is bright and sharp and I'm looking for that contition. The local milsup provides only faded ones, and ebay available stuff usually lacks of close shots to tell the condition of fabric.
how would i start to get into the milspo look?
do i just buy a ton of camo's etc on milsurp sites/stores?
i have a couple of milsurp jackets, but the thing is i don't know what kind of pants to wear with em
i like a tapered look and i'm pretty thin and don't like wearing milsurp pants i find since they seem to make my legs look like baloons
>>11566050
Chancing it with ebay is probably the only way. If they're in good condition the price tends to get upped though.

How can you have two feet different sizes?
>>11566072
The second one looks pretty sharp, thanks.
I'll check it for the exact sizing. Mine has the number 92, it should be the size notation I guess.
just copped these dope garments
thoughts?
Is this good enough?
>>11564448
Holy Autism batman, that pic.
>>11566474
cringe
>>11566474
You better dont want to wear that gas mask, you dont want to get cancer.
>>11549447

google for instructions.
>>11545924
FIRE IN THE HOLE
This is a pretty cool DIY.
>>11567558
diy?
you can buy those just about anywhere
>>11567614
Oh just saw the picture in my files and assumed. Thanks mate. Really just starting to get into surplus.
>>11567643
Protip, try and find someone selling them as broken. It won;t be, they're supposed to attach to the alpenflage jacket so you can;t really wear them standalone unless you modify the straps.
cop or not?
cop?
