True but I still don't think it looks good. I'm not big on prints though. I feel the same way about the "skeleton prints" or whatever in prints etc. The more abstract ones from that collection have been growing on me, but the one above is simply too photorealistic. It feels like wearing a big Nike swoosh to me.

Probabl YYPH but impossible to tell without pics since there's been so many styles. 1461s>Postman's for me since I like the chunky sole and bulbous last more, if you don't want people to think they're docs get the monochrome ones. If yoy want better quality docs google solovair and buy from britboot or solovair-direct (direct is tad cheaper but usually less stock). Solovair pretty much makes docs and the original factory.

What do you guys think of Margarett Howell? I really enjoy her less stark styling for runway but most times I prefer YY pieces (from most lines desu, Y's YYPH) worn with scarves and greys like Howell. Her look is definitely more tailored though.

With the shoes man I can't really compare unless that's the one you've found thats both available and in your size. I like probably 70% of Yohji's shoes but the Docs or Solovairs are pretty much always available. I've got a pair of black boots that are a bit asymmetrical from YY and they're great quality if you were wondering about quality though.

And with Howell just wanted to start some discussion on her work since this is the loose thread, definitely not comparable to YY but I like her stuff in terms of wearability and enjoy styling my YY like her stuff.

Yeah the majority of interest is definitely about fast fashion if you're not loaded unfortunately. The most girls usually get up to is mid/higher-tier brands like coach, Michael kors etc but even then it's still heavily based on what's popular. Up until a few years ago I was definitely the same and it's actually very fun to be able to play up fits but it's also incredibly overwhelming to have a closet filled with shit you don't wear and have things break apart after 3 weeks.
