i have curly hair so i shampoo once or twice a week and use lots of conditioner.
Does anybody use this? My gf and I found some for the low. She swears it's amazing stuff. I've been using head and shoulders most of my life. I was growing out my hair and realized I had some split ends. Yesterday I got a trim and cut the ends off, so I'm trying to start off anew with nice healthy hair. I should have investigated and found a good shampoo before the haircut...
is shampoo made for horses good?

I use that shampoo because I like that my hair actually feels clean afterwards,I just use wax afterwards because it completely removes any grease

Imo you should always use conditioner.
Nearly every shampoo strips your scalp out of its necessary oils and conditioner keeps your hair not turning into straw-like mess.
If you have problems with your scalp you could try going no shampoo and wait until your scalp normalises its oil production. That fixed my dandruff problem pretty much completely and now I just wash with conditioner.
Thoughts?

I have mild dandruff and used to use Head and Shoulders, but I kept hearing bad things about sulfates in shampoos. Switched to pic related and I absolutely love it. Only wash my hair when it gets dirty though, which is like once every 3-4 weeks or so
