I've been looking at these two and find them quite nice. What are your opinions on these, or do you have other recommendations? My style is basically a prepcore/normcore hybrid.
Both hideous
Can people stop saying "-core" all the time, it makes you sound like a retard
Anyway those are perfectly normal, middle-of-the-road glasses. Eyewear is taking a swing away from the heavy black acetate look that took over in the last 5-10 years, towards wireframe, but wireframe is still a bit of an edgy look and it's rare to find a style that doesn't look conspicuously special snowflake and attention-seeking.
both are quite nice. keep in mind that oliver peoples is luxottica owned, if you're ok with that then go ahead.

Whats the deal with luxottica? I have a pair of raybans that has a luxottica logo on the case, never thought about it.

Reddit hates them because they own everything
Honestly I've owned luxottica and "indie" stuff, there isn't really a huge difference other than special snowflake status
I get a little charge of smug superiority when Dr. Moscot is the guy actually doing my eye exam, and his name is literally on my glasses, but at the end of the day no one else but you actually cares

I was thinking of getting some wireframe glasses.. didn't even know they were coming back. I like these but worried the bottom ones are too much harry potter.
Oliver Peoples Gregory Peck is great would suit most people.

Yeah, I have wireframes and I got "harry potter" comments at first, then people got used to it. Then everyone else started wearing them.
I think I'm going back to acetate next pair.

this is my current pair and I get now shortage of those comments now

GUCCI

the bottom ones are fine, don't even worry about it if you like them
"Designer" branded glasses are ridiculous. Everyone has boring glasses with a Dior or a Dolce&Gabbana logo on it thinking that makes them luxury or something.

Name on that bottom pair?
