Daily reminder that guys who's really into fashion is a red flag for girls.
>>
yeah for pleb girls. shouldnt strive for them.
>>
>>11066760
No, for mature women, not teenagers
>>
>>11066757
Same for being really into Hollywood stars, gossip magazines about famous people, and other stuff that's considered "fluff" or appearance-based. If you have a distinctive style but downplay its role in defining you as a person, then it's a good thing to be "into" fashion. A strong interest in almost anything is a plus, as long as it doesn't consume your life or be the only thing that you're interested in (seriously, guys, vary your interests a little). If you treat it like any other hobby, then you're good.
>>
why do you guys assume velcro shoes aren't autistic when they're designer
>>
>>11066801
I think, "if" your house were on fire and you cry over all the burnt designer clothes, it's a huge turnoff for girls. If you love fashion that much you'd be bad at relationships. Pretty much like videogames nerds
>>
>>11066820
I would cry if my wardrobe burned m8
>>
>>11066757
Care to clarify?
>>
>>11066757
raf simons shirt?
>>
>>11066757
Care to clarify?
>>
This is a huge generalization, I think having a boyfriend who's really into fashion is a lot of fun. A guy who knows what's up and invests in quality basic pieces is much more attractive than any alternative imo.
>>
>>11066835

How about a guy that has a shitload of money and owns houses and cars instead of blowing his cash on tricky Ricky fits
>>
>>11066845
it's all superficial though. a car a big house or expensive clothing isn't the basis of a healthy relationship.
>>
>>11066820h
Pretty much

>>11066835
There's being into fashion, and there's being INTO fashion. The latter is a real turnoff unless you find someone who's as far gone as you - in that case you'll both be incredibly happy
>>
>>11066763
Who in the fuck wants an old hag lmao
>>
If you are talking about the girls who get turned off just because of an interest/hobby or even a way of life, then you are better off without such whores.
Be yourself. And if someone can't handle you on the worst of you, they don't deserve you on your best either.
Prostitutes are there for a reason.
>>
>>11066852

Doesn't this go for any hobby/interest though? It's not a fashion exclusive thing lol

>>
>>11066865
literally this. it's a very highschool tier personality trait, if it carries over into adulthood...well I don't really need to say any more
>>
>>11066820
but i'd cry bc that's a lot of money with resale value u faggot
>>
>>11066865
I get your point but >That shitty Marilyn Monroe quote.

Fashion is but one aspect

ya fell for it, wew laddo
>>11066918
doesn't necessarily mean APC or Acne memebasics, /fa/m. could just as well mean Uniqlo or some other cheap but good brand.
>>
desu i dont mind if he's into fashion but it depends how far off into it he is. how much money does he spend? is it his main hobby? is he obsessed with copping certain pieces and talks about it a lot? constantly planning fits? if answer is yes/a lot to most of those then i'd be turned off.
idk, i wouldn't want my partner's life consumed by fashion.

OP here, this is exactly what i was talking about. I mean if we're really into sports then sure, but fashion ? Ew, like, you never see any male designers who aren't feminine or gay. I should give up fashion before getting married to a woman.
>>
>>11068047
fashion isnt for old men. so yes, you should give up /fa/ forever. youre already 30. your time is long gone.
>>
>>11068017
I didn't fall for it, annoying slags who use it as an excuse to be cunts fell for it.
>>
>>11068047
Sports are the normie equivalent of weebshit
Not even playing, the correlations are astounding.

That said, if you still categorize people based on such trivial stuff after 25+, you are as juvenile and immature as those you mock about.

And if that makes you believe its tied to manlyness or take sex as a success factor at that age you are pretty much lost.
>>
>>11068047
>sports
How is spending all your weekends watching fourth division football and reading transfer gossip any more attractive to women than having the same level of interest in fashion.
>>
It's completely true, 95% girls really aren't into guys who like fashion.

God damn even the girl I dated for a few months who did her degree in fashion/ designs her own clothes didnt like that I was into fashion.
The amount of clothing I had and the fact I knew more about clothes than she did was a big issue for her.
I'm a musician and would love for a girl to be as interested in music as me, don't understand what that doesn't work the other way around.
>>
>>11066820

And this is what is wrong with the board.

No I wouldn't cry because it's designer.

I'd cry because there are clothes in there that have been with me for years, some pieces that have a lot of sentimental value.

You teenagers wouldn't understand because you change your wardrobe every year/2 years.

If you're above 25 please don't wear this. Embarrassing.
>>
>>11068137
>level
What i meant was guys who like playing sports not just watching. And no, normie qualities are always more superior than ours. why ? Because girls date normies more.
>>
>>11068175
>treating clothes like human
This is why people like you (us, actually) will always end up with girls that is not in our league. Like you might be physically 7/10 but you'd end up with a 5/10 grill.
>>
>>11068136
Okay maybe not manliness because i don't even know what manliness is anymore. But as a man, the one who loves fashion vs the one who get drunk a lot fuck bitches a lot and plays sports a lot, just think about it, which one do you think girls will feel safe with ?
>>
>>11068079
Luckily i'm just 22, so i still got tons of time to admire myself when dressing up. I feel bad for guys who are 50+ but are still insecure and care too much about their appearance even though they look next level as fuck
>>
>>11068217
Believe it or not, there are women who prefer different things in their partner
who would have known???
>>
>>11068233
Yes and those are the 5/10 betas. Oh man, now that i know how girls feel about me liking fashion, now i have to reconsider continue liking fashion. We live for girls.
>>
>>11068243
Not really unless you live in some flyover shithole
>>
>>11068243
Most people are plebs, get over it.
>>
>caring about what the estrogenated jew thinks

Express yourself the way you want to and take pride in yourself and hobbies. Just be responsible with how you spend your money.
>>
>>11068170
probably because she knew deep down that she was a shit designer
>>
>>11066757
Daily reminder that building your life, hobbies around roastie is red flag for yourself. It's understandable that if you're thirsty teenager virgin to think like that, but if you're pretty much mature person, you'd know that this is plain stupid. Sure more girls will be more interested in a guy who is into sports, cars and making money, but you really want to dedicate your life to please a women? Get the fuck out.
>>
>>11066757
Is this Usuke Devil?
>>

>Ew, like, you never see any male designers who aren't feminine or gay

Why are you here if you're this retarded
Juun. J, the soloist, damir doma, gosha, yohji, junya, issey, even normie shit like Ralph or Tommy. Literally the majority of male designers, even if they make primarily women's clothes, are masculine. Even then, since when did that effect your own orientation? Unless you're wearing a cropped leather jacket and fetish pants, in which case you might wanna develop your style a bit. By that logic if you est food cooked by a gay person youll turn gay too. Its not a virus retard. Good luck getting a wife I think that boat has already sailed for you.
>>
>>11069144
Gosha is gay
>>
>>11068210
that's because most girls are normies too. and normie girls are a no go

Fashion is an aspect of my personal Ideal. It points to a universal object of my desires and goals, which simultaneously instantiate themselves in my choice of sensuous living.

Hopefully my partner would understand that.
>>
welcome to: aspergers, the thread

people here amazingly seem incapable of understanding that people are much more than any one aspect of their personality or interests.

one vague generalization (that suggests that OP knows the ONE trait a man can have that will turn women away) will send these chimps into a goddamn frenzy of projection and defensive insults

seems to be no understanding on the part of the natives of this thread that people are incredibly complex and a relationship doubly so.

truly incredible, further study is very much needed on this advanced form of /fa/gotry
>>
>>11070597
How many girls have you fucked and what/10 is your gf ?

>>11069725

So let me get this straight, fashion is for children (under 30) who lack identity and don't have a shred of muscle nor personality? Seems about right.
>>
>>11070917

There's a difference between being a man who dresses decently and doesn't look like a slob and a pale twink with ridiculous clothes.

You have no fucking idea what you're talking about.
>>
>>11068927

I'm 30, and I know what you mean. Back in my late teens I was girl crazy, then in my 20s I fucked around a lot. Now in my 30s I'm most content just working on improving myself. Focusing on my career, or making more money, or looking better, or working out. I still love to fuck and I don't have any trouble, but when you hit 30.. suddenly pussy isn't everything.
