okay, here's what you do

eat 1200 calories a day. people on this board will tell you to eat fewer than that but dont listen to them, they are people who weigh a lot and are doing a fast for a few days who are convinced they are on the right track but in reality will binge in less than a week

so yeah, eat 1200 a day. keep carbs and sugar to a minimum. eat fibre and protein. as an example, my food today has been an apple snack pack and a black coffee for breakfast, then a mushroom and vegetable soup and a fruit salad for lunch, and then a piece of dieting bread, toasted, with two eggs and a tiny bit of avocado, which totals almost exactly 1200 (slightly less)

if you get 1200 every day and aim to walk 10,000 steps a day or at least 7500, you'll lose fairly easily.

the key is not to blame yourself too badly when you fuck up because then you're more likely to binge, not less likely. if you have an awful day do not try to compensate or punish by having a sub 500 cal day the next day, just count your losses and stick to 1200

drink a bunch of coffee, drink a lot of water, and smoke a lot of cigarettes if you're into that

Cool I guess I'll chime in here. After 5 years of being a fatty I've started running and dieting again. I basically only eat salads with chicken or tuna and drink water. I also take an antidepressant called bupropion which suppresses my appetite like an amphetamine although not to that extent. Caffeine also helps. I also smoke weed every day. I'm at 152 now, which is even lower than what I weighed when I was in good shape and competing in Judo in the 72kg weight class. The hardest thing is avoiding beer and alcohol, because before this I was getting trashed every weekend if not every day.

If you want to drop weight while lifting, I'd say just don't go below your TDEE - 500kcal and you'll be fine (that's a pound a week of weight loss). If you are already thin and just want to add muscle, I'd eat your TDEE and see what happens.

I'm down to 155.2 from 158.8 on the 14th, but I think a decent amount of that was water weight, man boobs look smaller but hard to tell with such a small drop, my motivation is staying high though.

This was my initial weight loss a couple years ago down to ~142-145, can remember exactly... I know I don't look amazing at the end but it was a fuck ton better than my old fat fuck self. I need to get back there and then improve on it and not quit this time.

just demand chipotle or something. It has calories but it's nutritious and relatively easy to warm up, you could probably get an order of chipotle a day and call that good. A meat burrito with toppings such as: cheese, salsa, lettuce, sour cream, rice and beans has roughly 1,000 calories. I usually order a chicken burrito with brown rice, and black beans, with pico de gallo (mild), and lettuce. That would probably shave off a good 300 calories, but I'm shit at estimating. Eating only 1 thing from chipotle or qdoba would probably stop you from gaining, although you're probably less than 1000 calories a day you're remaining sedimentary all day. Hope this helps familia, I feel your pain.

Yes, it is true that cold showers help you lose weight, though I can't vouch for it's effectiveness. The body uses energy to warm itself, so if you are very cold your body is burning fat in an attempt to stay warm. However if you're only in the shower for 10-15 minutes it probably won't burn much fat at all. I'd say ice baths or swimming in cold water would be a more effective way of utilizing this burn. Ice baths are extremely cold, so your body will burn more faster. Exercising in cold water could also work, however exercise warms the body meaning you'll burn less from pure cold exposure.

There are far more effective ways to shed weight, and cold showers are fucking depressing. You're looking very healthy right now, but another few kilograms less would look great also. Keep up the good work

Thanks m8. I've been just counting calories. I gradually reduced them. At first was pretty easy to remove 1000kcal because I was eating such heavy foods, so that's why I dropped so fast to start with. As I got lower in weight I did TDEE - 500kcal per the fit sticky. I kept adjusting my TDEE every 10lbs.

Now I'm eating about 1600-1800kcal per day, I try to keep it in that range, and I'm still dropping on average a pound a week. It's a lot harder as I get lower though, for sure respect some of the skelles on here that have really low BMIs.

Started seeing numerical results weekly. Didn't really notice anything physically until down 30 pounds, but others seemed to notice at like 20.

I cut my weight by basically eating only mushrooms, celery, carrots, clementines, bananas, and chicken for a few weeks. I also ran/walked 4-5 miles a day. I've been able to maintain my weight now @ 135 by returning to a normal diet (eating normal foods but still avoiding excess sugar and drinking lots of water). I wouldn't drop as low as I did, but it's definitely obtainable. My motivation was to make my face not look like a fucking fat piggy.
