I recently recieved my first Android phone (Sony Xperia Z5) so I'm pretty new to this. Any tips? How does this look? Anybody have any recommendations for a better weather and clock widget?

Sometimes I notice that people forego their apps panel altogether. How do you get by without it for those times when you need to open up settings or something? Also, does anyone have any advice for making their apps panel/library not look like trash? I'm using Nova Launcher.

I use apex launcher (not the best but what I'm used to), any launcher can accomplish though. I made most of the widgets with UCCW, the clock being zooper, the calendar being Event Flow, and the music widget being Jack's. Nothing I did is over complicated I think I just managed to finally get a good combination and flow.
