I want to buy a bomber jacket. Should I go for an Alpha Industries

Alpha industries are milsurp, but they have other divisions that make different versions of the ma-1 for like urban outfitters and shit. I bought my alpha classic ma-1 from a milsurp store. The other jackets you would find there like rothco etc are pretty ass quality.

Alpha industries is worth it. If you want something cheaper and not as bulky, I actually highly recommend the ASOS bomber jacket despite what people may say. I own it and it's a great jacket. I get complements on it often.

This looks like the place to ask this. What do you guys think, should I get a black asos bomber (aka >>10925304) or get a pic related off aliexpress. They're around the same price. Also to be noted, I already own a AI ma-1 in sage green.

bombers are a menswear classic and while they might be hot shit now and you can find cheap shitty ones everywhere, they still will be perfectly fine to wear whenever, so get a decent one.

alpha industries are the classic, but carharrt also has some nice ones for example.

I got their MA-1 bomber and regret it. The fabric and elastic are really stiff and the cut doesn't allow for good movement. It was poorly stitched and trimmed and the lining ripped on the first day I wore it.

It's possibly we ordered different variations because mine hasn't had any of those issues. I don't understand how the lining ripped on yours. No such thing has even come close to happening to me.

I don't understand why it ripped either but it's a good 6" on the seam starting under the right arm. It's a gamble with fast fashion and I lost. Still looks good at least.
