If it's decent (or handmade, like scarves), keep it and trot it out to wear when you have to visit family. If you really hate it, donate it.

My family and friends have shit taste in bottoms and shoes. Shirts and jackets are nice and I'll wear those but I usually just donate whatever I don't touch and have stockpiled for 4+ months to goodwill or try to sell them.
