Can we have a glasses thread?

japanese frames are the best, if you can acquire them, matsuda or masunaga to be specific.

Be EXTREMELY careful with where you buy glasses. Warby Parker has a good rep, as do other places, but fly-by-night Chinese places have a rep for being kinda imprecise with their lenses. That's obviously something of an issue.

Believe it or not, Costco has phenomenal reviews and variety according to Consumer Reports. I know a lot of people who have bought there - or through them - and gotten specific things they wanted fairly cheaply.

I don't wear glasses, though, so I can't provide help beyond that.

I have specifically heard a lot of complaints about this joint:
http://www.optical4less.com/

Something about the lenses.

A full list of places like that is here:

As you can tell, none of them seem particularly perfect, at least according to that dude.

I always liked WarbyParker, but make the upgrade and get Oliver Peoples. More expensive but higher quality and better designs. Not as basic.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
